Zulema Custom Interiors- Owner, Vehicle Seat Designer 
Feb 2018- Present (6 years)
Design: create artistic vehicle seat designs while understanding balance with complimentary and contrasting colors, grains and shapes.  Use color blocking effect techniques to produce award winning designs.  

Fabrication: Reverse engineer patterns and create own patterns using draping, drafting and dart manipulation techniques. Shape foam according to design specifications.

Zulema Fashions- Owner, Fashion Designer

Product Development: Created Sumac Zulema, a women clothing collection, to be sold on my eBay store: Zulema's wardrobe.

Pattern making: Assisted in the pattern making process, draping method, for designer Lizzi London. 
  
Runway Production : Assisted in the model selection and catwalk training for Virginia Fashion Week 2013 for designer Lizzi London, Suga Hill Boutique for designer RicLamar and Foxers for designer April Spring 

Fashion Stylist: Trained and gave fashion stylist tips to employees at White house Black Market resulting in increased sales.  Collaborated with Dress for Success Hampton Roads by styling customers and enhancing their shopping experience. 

Loreal Group- Visual Merchandiser

Planogram: Produced merchandise displays for Loreal Cosmetics with the help of planogram software in three Target locations in Hampton Roads. Created appealing Loreal displays as needed.

Merchandising: Set up acrylic cosmetic retail POS, point-of-sale, display units for makeup according to Loreal regulations.  Set up table displays during special promotions.

Zulema's Alterations- Owner, Seamstress

Designer Fashions: Specialized in Vogue patterns to create runway looks for clients using multisize grading skills as needed.

Clothing Alterations: Embellished and prepped bridal gowns for Anayel Fashions Boutique and altered garments for movie sets at Michael Copon Productions. 

Graphic Z- Owner, Graphic Designer

Logo Design: Produced Logos for FitMiss Specialty Boutique, White Oaks Elementary School, and my clothing brand Sumac Zulema.

Advertising and Design: Designed and produced the poster, invitation, certificate and flyer for the 2001 Annual Student Art Show for Pembroke Mall in Virginia Beach, VA.

Web Development: Created an e-commerce website for my fashion collection called Sumac Zulema using Dreamweaver software.
